Yet another rational perspective about global warming. I was particularly drawn to his use of "McCarthy-ism" to describe the political-scientific community's zeal. That's the "spot-on" description I've been trying to pin down for the AGW "movement".

Wow! Nobody has ever come so close to making my case for me as this guy. There are untold numbers of people out there that agree that incorrectly linking conservation habits with a "fight" against an enemy they cannot define, quantity, or aim at, is perfectly rational. They can't see any harm in more taxes and limits and regulations, even when the justification may be totally false and baseless, not to mention that all those new controls can't, ultimately, "fix the problem", no matter it's cause. Why? Cause that's what we always do when we think something is broken. Right? Right?
Brainwash is right, folks.
